Gotta love roller furling
After a lifetime of flaking sails changing sails you just have to love spending 11 seconds to have a now small and balanced jib and main and he helming with two fingers in 20 knots true wind
Wow, you have a furling main? I must have missed that on your earlier posts. Looks like it furls into the boom. What kind of system do you have? Would love a furling main for Skylark, as you mentioned, it makes single handing a breeze. Very cool. Jim

It's a hood stoboom which is a first generation unit so there are no battens like the newer units
ReplyDeleteBUT it is almost brand new and works well and is well worth the performance hit
